Police call off search in Riverside Drive area

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The man who escaped from Jackson police wearing one handcuff is still at large Wednesday night.

Jackson Police called off the search for the suspect who ran from a traffic stop Wednesday morning.  Police and Metro-One searched for more than an hour.

Police say the man was stopped for speeding, then scuffled with officers and ran away.

The incident occurred around 9am.  Police say they may know who the man is, but wouldn't give any additional information.
