Man charged with sex crimes against a minor

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Jackson Police had a man in custody charged with sex crimes against a minor on Wednesday.

52-year-old John Wesley Bailey lives in the Hillsdale Drive area of West Jackson.

He was arrested Monday and charged with 3-counts of sexual battery against a minor.

His alleged victim is a 14-year-old girl.

Bailey had an initial court appearance Wednesday morning and he is behind bars without bail.
