UTICA, MS (WLBT) - There was an overnight disturbance on the Hinds Community College campus in Utica Thursday night.
Friday, the college released a statement saying two male students, and one female student were arrested for refusing to comply with an 11:30 curfew Thursday night.
A campus security officer says a group of 50 students were very disorderly and playing loud music in a cafeteria and lobby area of a residence hall. When they refused to leave, the officer sprayed mace into area and several students began gagging.
The three students arrested were charged with disorderly conduct and could face further disciplinary actions from the college.
