Dozer falls onto Highway 43

PELAHATCHIE, MS (WLBT) - A sharp narrow curve in the road caused heavy machinery to topple off the back of an 18-wheeler Monday morning on highway 43 just south of Pelahatchie.

Mississippi Highway Patrol Corporal Jeffrey Farish said the back axle of a flatbed trailer went off the road causing the top-heavy bulldozer to flip over. Corporal Farish also stated this is the sight of numerous accidents due to the narrow curve .

One person was taken into custody but no charges were filed and no one was injured during the accident.
