JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Jackson police used pepper spray to stop a disruptive student at Provine High School Tuesday morning.
Police spokeswoman Colendula Green says around 8:45, a 17-year-old male student attacked a security officer and broke the officer's glasses.
Police were called, and the student continued to run.
Green says an officer finally stopped him with pepper spray. The student was arrested and charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.
