
CLINTON, MS (WLBT) - Clinton voters have passed a $23.5 million school bond issue.
Sandi Beason, the public affairs director for the school district, said there were a total of 3,462 votes. Of that number, 2,988 voted in favor of the bond issue, which is 86.5 percent of the vote.
The money will be used to build a new elementary school and make improvements to several other schools in Clinton.
