Raymond man sentenced to prison for child exploitation

RAYMOND, MS (WLBT) - A Raymond man is headed to prison after pleading guilty to child exploitation charges.

Sixty-two-year-old Charles Hays was sentenced to 10 years, seven to serve and three suspended.

Hays was also ordered to pay fines and must also register as a sex offender.

An investigation by the attorney general's cyber crime unit revealed Hays had been downloading child porn.
