Arrest made in bank robbery

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) Jackson Police have made an arrest in a bank robbery, which occurred Friday afternoon.

It happened Friday afternoon at the Westland Plaza Trustmark on Robinson Road. According to JPD, a man walked into the bank around 2:15 p.m., threw a note at a teller, and made off with cash. He did not display a weapon.

Shortly after that, 37-year-old Maurice Alexander Campbell was apprehended in the 500 block of Eastview Drive. He is charged with bank robbery.
