FBI offers reward for duct tape bandits

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The FBI of Jackson is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a bank robbery ring.

The group is being called the duct tape bandits because they tie up the tellers with the tape during the robberies..

They are wanted for three robberies in Jackson and one in Kosciusko. Robberies occurred at these locations on these dates:

Omni Bank
1601 E. County Line Rd.
Jackson 9-9-2010

Trustmark Bank
6248 Old Canton Rd.
Jackson 5-25-2010

Omni Bank
5005 Old Canton Rd.
Jackson 7-29-2009

Regions Bank
620 Veterans Memorial Dr.
Kosciusko 2-22-2006

FBI Special Agent in Charge Daniel McMullen says, "We have a pretty good idea they're all part of this robbery ring so were looking for that type of info that would help us understand where they may be where they went and so forth."

Both men are black males and could still live in the Jackson area.

The banks who were victims are also offering an additional $25,000.00 reward for an arrest in this case.
