It's a safe place for crime victims who are 60 years or older.

Judge William Skinner says, "It's based on the model of domestic violence shelter but it's designed for our elders and it will house or treat individuals that are 60-years of age or older who have been physically neglected by our caregivers financially ripped off by fraud or self neglect and this house will be a temporary shelter for those individuals until we can get them in a more stable environment.""

All donations to the project can be made to the Mississippi Center for Police & Sheriffs - Elder Justice Project - PO Box 1201 - Raymond, MS 39154.
