
JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Police have arrested a teenager for a deadly shooting at a Jackson grocery store in April.
Wednesday detectives charged 16-year-old Desmond Brent with capital murder.
Brent attempted to rob Black's Grocery on South Drive on April 1st.
Kacharabhai Patel worked as a clerk at the store and was shot during that attempted robbery. He died four days later.
A tip to Crimestoppers led detectives to naming Brent as a suspect.
