Attala County fire crews respond to blaze

ATTALA COUNTY, MS (WLBT)- Multiple fire crews responded to a fully involved house fire on 2215 Attala Road.

State fire marshall and county investigators were called to the scene at 8:19 Saturday morning. Fire crews contained the blaze within minutes.

The Attala County coroner says 92-year-old Lorell Brunt died in the fire. The official cause of death will be determined after an autopsy is complete. How the fire started remains under investigation.
