Brandon Artiles joins the WLBT Morning Team

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Brandon Artiles joined the WLBT Morning Team on August 31, 2010 and is excited to share the desk with Katina Rankin and Paul Williams.

In addition to anchoring in the morning, Brandon enjoys getting out into the community and reporting stories that effect Central Mississippi.

Brandon came to Jackson, MS by way of Jackson, TN, where he anchored the morning show and reported for WBBJ-TV for four years.

Prior to that Brandon, received his "graduate degree" working as an photographer and editor for WATE in Knoxville, TN.

Knoxville is also where Brandon received his education, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Communication/Journalism and Electronic Media from the University of Tennessee.

While he wrapped up college at UT-Knoxville his college career began at UT-Chattanooga where he started for two years on the Mocs NCAA Div. 1 wrestling team.

Brandon, along with his wife, Heather, and son, Joey, look forward to becoming a part of the community and opening a new chapter of their lives in the Capital City.
