5th arrest made in Collins murder

COLLINS, MS (WLBT) - Authorities in Covington County have arrested a 5th person in connection with a deadly weekend shooting in Collins. 

18-year-old Justin Yawn is charged with accessory after the fact of murder in the shooting death of Charles Welch, Jr. 

The shooting took place Saturday, October 2nd on Barry's Lane. 

Bond for Yawn was set at $500,000 dollars. 

On Monday, 23-year-old Phillip Parrett and 29-year-old Nona Welch were charged with murder. 

Welch faces an additional charge of conspiracy to commit murder along with 18-year-old Clarence Walters and 22-year-old Dennis Seabolt. 

Seabolt is also accused of tampering and concealing physical evidence. 

All five are being held in the Covington County Jail.
