News guys win grilling competition at the fair

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - If you're looking for the best beef kabob team in Mississippi, look no further than the WLBT News Department.

The Mississippi Beef Council held its annual grilling competition at the Mississippi State Fair Tuesday morning and the "3 On Your Side Grillers" earned the first place award.

New media director Bob Burks, morning anchor Brandon Artiles and weeknight anchor Howard Ballou joined forces to make up the winning team.

They competed against members of the Mississippi Senate and House of Representatives and Rick and Kim of Miss 103.
