Mendenhall's Police Chief arrested

Jackson, MS (WLBT) - Mendenhall's police chief already under scrutiny finds himself on the wrong side of the law.

Chief Bruce Barlow was arrested Wednesday on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. According to a report from Simpson County Justice Court, Barlow made sexually obscene gestures toward a man and his family on Monday.

Barlow was already on paid administrative leave because the department is being investigated by state and federal agents for alleged missing money and equipment.

He has posted bond will go to court on November 9th.
