Man charged with statutory rape

KOSCIUSKO, MS (WLBT) - An investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct with minors has landed a man behind bars on felony sex charges.

Kosciusko Police arrested and charged 40-year-old Gersone Jarmal Fondren with statutory rape, sexual battery and enticement of a child to produce visual depiction.

Bond for Fondren has been set at $100,000.

He is being held in the Attala County jail.
