WASHINGTON (AP) After a short halt, the nation's largest bank will resume home foreclosure sales in 23 states.
Bank of America will re file paperwork in over 100-thousand cases, beginning next Monday.
They'll do so in the 23 states that require a judge's approval to carry out a foreclosure.
The bank, however, will continue its foreclosure delay in the 27 states that do *not* require judicial approval.
The temporary halt arose after a wave of accusations that banks had employees sign foreclosure paperwork without actually reading the documents and verifying their accuracy.
Bank of America says it's confident it filed accurate documents in the majority of the questioned cases.
