Courtroom tantrum caught on tape

Posted: Updated:
HILLSBORO, OR (NBC) - A convicted rapist went berserk in a Washington County courtroom last week and it was all caught on a surveillance camera.

Felix Espinoza Quiroz started to yell while his accuser was testifying in his trial.

Then, he suddenly flipped over the table he was sitting at and it took three deputies to subdue him.

Quiroz' trial wrapped up last Friday and he was convicted of several sex abuse charges after the court outburst.

He has not yet been sentenced.

In the video, captured by surveillance camera in the courtroom, Quiroz was wearing a light blue shirt and he can first be seen on the far left-hand side of the screen.
