Four arrested for making meth near school

BROOKHAVEN, MS (WLBT) - Four people have been busted for operating a meth lab near a Lincoln County school. 

Sheriff Steve Rushing tells WLBT 30-year-old Todd Rodriquez from Kentwood, Louisiana, 26-year-old Christopher Smith from Ruth, Mississippi, 21- year-old Ashley Smith and 39-year-old Kelly Smith, both of Brookhaven, were arrested Tuesday night at a house across the street from West Lincoln Attendance Center. 

All four are charged with possession and manufacture of a controlled substance and possession of pre-cursors. 

The charges will be enhanced because the meth lab was located near a school.
