JACKSON, MS (AP) U.S. House Republican leader, John Boehner will be in northern Mississippi Thursday to campaign for congressional candidate, Alan Nunnelee.
The Nunnelee campaign said Wednesday that U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker will appear with Boehner and Nunnelee in Southaven.
Nunnelee is challenging Democrat Travis Childers, who has represented Mississippi's 1st District since mid-2008.
Childers won the seat in a special election after Wicker moved from the House to
the Senate.
Last week, former President Bill Clinton campaigned at the University of Mississippi for Childers.
