Man fatally shot at club entrance

PORT GIBSON, MS (WLBT) – Authorities are trying to find out who killed a man at the doorway of a Claiborne county night club early Saturday morning.

Sheriff Frank Davis said deputies were called to Henry Lee's Club on Bessie Weathers Road near Port Gibson.

Just before two o'clock in the morning law officers found 27-year-old Eric Gusta lying on the porch at the front door of the building.

The sheriff said Gusta was shot once in the head.

He died at the scene.

The victim's most recent address was Port Gibson, but officials said his home is in Los Angeles.

No arrests have been made.

Sheriff Davis asks anyone with information about this crime to please call the Claiborne County Sheriff's Department at 601-437-5161.
