Swingers club busted

LEE COUNTY, FL (NBC) - Deputies and the state Bureau of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco raided a Whiskey Creek swingers' club Saturday night.

The arrest report says ABT got a tip that alcohol was being sold at a house at 1570 Beechwood Trail, which was known as "Shangri-Lust."

During the investigation, authorities learned the club, which features an orgy room, hot tub and food buffet for patrons, according to its website, was advertising $69 tickets on eBay for a party that would be held Saturday night.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office registered two undercover officers on Shangri-Lust's website, and the detectives were emailed the details for the party, an ABT report said.

Saturday night, undercover officers were allowed inside the home after paying a $59 fee to 59-year-old Angstadt of Fort Myers, according to the report.

During the visit, the homeowner, Charolette Nottage, 50, reportedly told the officers the fee covered the cost of a DJ, entry, a bartender, mixers and access to the business.

While inside, the officers were served alcohol, according to the report.

Shortly after the officers left, ABT raided the home, searched Angstadt and found pot and $1,400 in cash on him, the report said.

Angstadt was charged with drug possession.

Nottage was charged with a misdemeanor count of serving alcohol without a license.

Both were taken to the Lee County Jail.
