I-220 accident left one injured & tied up traffic

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - An accident on I-220 injured one person and backed up traffic for some time Saturday afternoon.

The wreck in the southbound lanes near the Clinton Boulevard Exit mangled a white pickup truck causing it to spill its contents and leave the roadway.

The cleanup caused delays, but crews worked it pretty quickly.

No word on the condition of the driver and no word on the other vehicle involved.
