Decision 2010 nears

STATEWIDE (WLBT) - Mississippi voters will decide in three days whether to keep all four current representatives.

Candidates were out in force Saturday stumping before the decision 2010 mid-term election.

Congressional candidate Republican Bill Marcy was part of a small rally in Byram. He was joined by a few other candidates for county and circuit judge. Marcy has worked in the law enforcement and security sectors. Marcy faces incumbent Democrat Bennie Thompson in the Delta-to-Jackson 2nd Congressional District.

Democratic incumbent Travis Childers is in a tight race with Republican Alan Nunnelee in the state's 1st district.

Meanwhile, long time south Mississippi incumbent Representative Gene Taylor faces a challenge in Republican Steven Palazzo for the District 4 seat and Republican Representative Gregg Harper in the central 3rd district is running against Democratic challenger Joel Gill.
