Court date gets set for actor and TV host Gary Collins

JACKSON, MS- A court date has been set for Gary Collins, the actor and former TV host involved in a car accident earlier this week.

This morning JPD spokesperson Colendula Green confirmed that Collins is scheduled to appear in Jackson Municipal Court on December 9th.

He is facing a misdemeanor charge of *leaving the scene of an accident*. Collins was involved in an accident Tuesday afternoon on the I-55 frontage road at Old Canton Road.

Looking back over the past 10 years Collins has been arrested for DUI three times.
