JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Mississippi's premiere shopping event, Mistletoe Marketplace, wrapped up in Jackson Saturday.  Over 150 merchants from all across the country filled the Mississippi Trade Mart for the past three days.

Savvy shoppers packed the aisles looking for unique Christmas gifts, clothing and food.  The one of a kind event is so popular it often caused traffic back ups in and around the state fairgrounds.

"It's been busy.  We've been really, really thankful for that and felt fortunate for that because all the funds raised go back into the community to support our community projects," said Amy Felder, Promotions Chair for Junior League's Mistletoe Marketplace.

The Junior League uses the funds for 30 community projects that largely affect local children.
