
JACKSON, MS (WLBT) – Jackson firefighters were on the scene of a house fire Saturday afternoon.
Units responded around two o'clock to blaze in the 4400 block of Meadow Lane Drive in north Jackson.
Smoke could be seen coming from the roof of the house.
At the rear of the building there was more fire damage and smoke.
Deputy Chief R.D. Simpson said firefighters received reports that the home was vacant.
They worked Saturday afternoon to confirm the information.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
