Jackson, MS (WLBT) - Several families were treated to a special breakfast this morning in the capital city to help kick off an annual fundraiser sponsored by McDonald's Restaurant.
McDonald's operators and owners from around Jackson served families at the Ronald McDonald House. The breakfast is the official kick-off for the annual "Give-A-Hand Fundraiser." The Ronald McDonald House is located on the University of Mississippi Medical Center Campus families with very sick children to live there while their children receive medical care. And parents say any and all donations helps.
Amanda Nettles says, "A dollar can go a really long way, I mean there's a lot of women and men that have children in the nic unit, so anything anyone can donate is going to help out."
You can participate in the fundraiser until November 20th.
