JACKSON, MS (WLBT)- Police are investigating a shooting at the Pilot gas station. It happened just after 3:30 Sunday morning.

Authorities tell us Chris Evans was shot in the abdomen and transported to University Medical Center. He is in stable condition.

The shooting stemmed from an incident at Club Zodiac. The suspects fled the scene in an old model white Pontiac Grand Prix.

Officers engaged in pursuit. The suspects were tracked down on Woody Drive.

The passengers of the vehicle fled. The driver, 32 year old Adrian West, was arrested and charged with felony eluding and possession of marijuana.

West suffered from a broken arm prior to the incident. He was also transported to University Medical Center after complaining about pain.
