Woman injured in three vehicle accident

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A three vehicle accident sent one woman to the hospital Thursday morning. The accident happened just after 7:30.

An 18-wheeler headed northbound on I-55 slammed into a white Buick sedan. The driver of the Buick is at UMC with neck and back injuries.

Jackson Police say the 18-wheeler also struck the left rear of a red Jeep Cherokee. The driver of the Cherokee wasn't injured.
