Changes to Gluckstadt interchange discussed at public hearing

MADISON COUNTY, MS (WLBT) – The Mississippi Department of Transportation held a public meeting Thursday to discuss proposed improvements to a Madison County road project. 

MDOT officials went over some suggested modifications to the interchange at Interstate 55 and Gluckstadt Road. 

They hope the changes will lessen the right of way impact and ultimately reduce the cost of the project. 

Transportation Commissioner Dick Hall says this project should have priority over the Reunion Interchange being pushed for by Madison supervisors.
