JACKSON, MS (WLBT)- A judge denies bond for one of the suspects arrested in the kidnapping and armed robbery of a Belhaven University student. Carlos White appeared in court Friday morning to face charges of kidnapping and armed robbery.
White will be held with no bond until his preliminary hearing. Police arrested white last Friday and charged him with forgery and credit card fraud for allegedly using the student's credit card. He had been released from jail after posting bond on the initial charges.
The new charges come two days after police charged Percy Amos with kidnapping and armed robbery. Sixteen year-old Jeffrey Wilson also faces the same charges.
Earlier this month, Jackson police says four men followed a 22-year-old female student to her car off campus and forced her to drive to an ATM. She crashed her car on purposed and managed to escape.
