Three burglaries took place on Fontaine Ave., south of Northside Dr. and west of Baily Ave., two over the weekend and one Monday.

Another homeowner down the street says thieves siphoned electricity from her house.

Also, another house was broken into twice over the weekend.

"They took two laptops, they took jewelry. They took food out of my freezer, I just did my Christmas shopping and I just bought one item last night at CVS and they taken it too.

And then we have neighbors who see people breaking in your house and don't call. Now that's what they need to do, we need to watch out for each other," Shirley Gray said.

Jackson police were on the scene Monday morning.
