ATTALA COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - An overnight police chase ends with a wreck in Attala County.
Around 12:30 Saturday morning a Kosciusko police officer tried to pull over a blue 2001 Saturn on Allen Street for a traffic violation.
The driver would not stop the vehicle and a chase ensued.
The vehicle crashed into a tree less than a half mile away. The officer fired his taser to subdue the driver.
Forty-two-year old Curtis Adams was arrested on scene. Adams was charged with resisting arrest, DUI, fleeing and two counts of running a stop sign.
