MERIDIAN, Miss. (AP) - State officials say a Meridian nurse faces felony drug charges stemming from a month-long prescription drug investigation by the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
MBN Director Marshall Fisher says agents arrested 30-year-old Suzanne L. Marshall at her home.
WTVA-TV reports Marshall is charged with seven counts of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud.
Officials say drug agents confiscated more than 300 dosages of dextroamphetamine that allegedly were obtained by fraud along with seven allegedly forged prescriptions.
It was not immediately known whether Marshall has an attorney.
