A local Masonic lodge provides holiday dinner for community

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A local group is taking the time to give back for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Members of the Wiley Spence Lodge #704 provided a turkey dinner for the community and a local nursing home this afternoon.

The annual event is held in West Jackson.  Officials said their goal is to help make sure the less fortunate have a Thanksgiving meal.

    One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
    Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.
