Jackson police work to solve another car jacking

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Jackson Police are investigating yet another carjacking in the Capital City, this time in broad daylight.

Officer Colendula Green says a woman's car was taken at gunpoint around 3 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of Danny's Gas station in the 29 hundred block of Northside Drive.

The unidentified 34-year-old Madison resident told police she had gone into the store and while getting back into her car she heard someone yell "hey". The nursing student was sitting in her car when she says a man put a gun to her neck and ordered her to get out of the vehicle.

She described the gunman as a black male wearing a black hoodie and a baseball cap police are looking for the missing vehicle.

The vehicle is described as a white 2007 Saturn Aurora with a Madison County license plate MBB637.
