JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - South Panola High School beat Meridian High School 28-7 in the 6A Championship Title game Friday night.
Fans for both teams came out to Veterans Memorial Stadium in Jackson to cheer on their favorite team. Men, women and children dressed in their school's colors filled nearly a quarter of the large stadium.
"This is a big time game, a big time game. This is as good as it gets," said Billy Malone, a Meridian Fan.
"Workout, exercising, stay focus and good coaches," said Marlon Tucker of South Panola's success.
