New licence plate will support children with Dyslexia

STATE WIDE (WLBT)- A new license plate is about to be unveiled and with your contribution. It will make a difference for children with Dyslexia.

The 3-D school in Petal, along with senator Tom King is working on a legislative bill to create Dyslexia awareness license plates which will help children attend the school by way of scholarships.

The license plates cost $31.00 and in order to help these kids, three hundred must be pre purchased.

"Fifty percent of our children are on scholarship assistance to come to this school so this will mean $24.00s of that $31.00 that everyone will give toward the car tags will come back to the school and be used as scholarship assistance for those children", said Cena Holifield, Executive Director of 3-D School.
