Armed robber holds up Family Dollar Store

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Jackson Police were searching for an armed robber Monday night.

JPD says at 9:26 PM the Family Dollar Store at 320 West Woodrow Wilson was held up.

An unidentified black male wearing a hoodie pointed a gun at the cashiers head and demanded money.

He escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount.

However, most of the cash was recovered at the business's back door.
