Jackson man pleads guilty for involvement in 2008 homicide

HINDS COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - A Jackson man pleaded guilty to his involvement in a 2008 homicide Monday.

Bruce Wade was then sentenced to 20 years to serve for manslaughter plus five years enhanced punishment for displaying a firearm and 13 years for robbery.

Authorities say in October 2008 the then 16 year old Wade attempted to rob Rebecca Bolton Mack.

Co-defendant Tevin Ward then took the gun from Wade and shot and killed Mack.

Ward previously pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life in prison.
