JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A Hinds County judge ruled the managers of Zach's House must shut down their operation.
The home, located on Northside Drive, was designed to house brain and spinal cord injury patients during their recovery.
Thursday morning, Mary Bates of the Miles Corporation, a non-profit organization, was told to vacate the property by Friday.
Owners of the home had donated the property to Bates' foundation last year, under the conditions she provided them with financial records, signed a contract, and didn't allow her family members to stay there.
Jackson attorney Richard Lengle donated the renovated home. He says she failed to meet those requirements, forcing him to take back the property.
Lengle now plans to sell the home.
