Driver in Harrison Co. fatal crash identified

GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove says 28-year-old Scott Moore of Saucier has been identified as the driver killed in one-vehicle crash near Gulfport.

Moore was killed after his pickup truck hit a power pole on Old Highway 49 around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Just prior to the fatal crash, Hargrove said Moore was involved in a hit and run accident at a nearby intersection. No injuries were reported in that accident.
