Woman convicted of killing her newborn

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISANA- A New Orleans woman accused of throwing her newborn into Lake Pontchartrain has been found guilty.

A jury has convicted Ciara Craig of murder. She testified earlier that she thought the baby was stillborn when she gave birth. Craig said she wanted to keep the birth a secret.

 An autopsy showed the newborn drowned.
