Broken water main unleashes torrent of water

Posted: Updated:

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A water main has broken in the capital city, unleashing a torrent of water from underground.

With temperatures below freezing, the pipe at Woody Drive and Terry road burst. Water was shooting towards the sky and pouring over the street near homes.

Water could be seen streaming over to the yard of a nearby home. The road was blocked off Monday night.
