JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A teen charged with several counts of armed robbery and house burglary will remain in jail indefinitely.

Sixteen-year-old John Caston pleaded not guilty on six counts of armed robbery and two counts of house burglary.

Caston and two other teens were arrested for the weekend crime spree which spread from Clinton to south Jackson.

In court today, Caston's attorney requested bond for the teen, but bond was denied. Judge Harrison set Caston's trial date for November 20-11.

Caston has a long criminal record. In November, he was indicted in 10 armed robberies. Following the indictment Caston made a 150-thousand dollar bond.
