JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Well, its not as crazy as Black Friday, but the final Saturday before Christmas, coined as "Super Saturday," certainly brought the masses out.

"Oh my God it has been really hectic we are trying to find some of the last minute things and we've found some sales this morning, said shopper Gwen Haynes."

Northpark Mall and Academy Sports and Outdoors, swarmed with last minute shoppers.

"It's almost like people realize that hey there's only seven days left, six days left, five days left and this is my last weekend, said Academy Sports and Outdoor, Store Director Steve Finch."

Many folks had great luck finding items on their Christmas List, while others weren't so lucky.

" I think they're out of the Moxe make-over doll and I was looking for that yesterday at Wal-mart and couldn't find it, said shopper Rita Fritz."

At Target toys and electronics are the big selling items this Christmas. But, if you're looking for popular electronic items like the Wii Fit and XBox 360 Kinnects you might be out of luck buying them in the store. Most of the hot selling electronics are sold out.

X-Box Kinnects are so popular. Corporate officials from target are shipping a load of them out on a 747 to distribution centers across the country Sunday.

"If you're not here right when we open you might not get them, said Alan Wise of Target.

If you are a last minute shopper, there is some good news in store. Some of the shoppers we spoke to say deals this weekend are the best they've seen this holiday season.

"Compared to last week, a lot of 30, 40, 50 percent off sales, red tag sales and stuff like that, so it is a bargain, said shopper Sylvia Spires."

"Don't wait until the last minute every yea, added Haynes."
