Police search for school teacher's killer

MEMPHIS, TN- Police have a suspect in connection with the murder of Maggie Wright, the Memphis teacher who's body was found in West Memphis, Arkansas.

Police are looking for this man, 36-year-old Cedric Burks of West Memphis.

Officers uncovered the body of Maggie Wright Sunday on a dirt road in West Memphis.

Investigators say Burks may be driving Wright's car: a White 2000 Lincoln LS with Mississippi license plate DFN 374.

Wright was last seen at Harrah's Casino Tunica around 1a.m. Sunday.

Tunica County investigators say video surveillance shows Wright walking around inside the casino with two men.

It also shows her walking out of the casino with the two men and getting into her car.

Ten hours later Wright's body was found on the outskirts of West Memphis.

She had been beaten and hit by a car.

Authorities now believe robbery may have been a motive.

Detectives tell us Burks is a parolee and is considered extremely dangerous.

Police believe he may have left the area.
