JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Freezing temperatures overnight caused some problems Monday morning.

The breaks were reported in West and Southwest Jackson neighborhoods.

One of the breaks was reported in the 5100 block of Queen Eleanor on Jackson's west side.

Around the same time Monday morning, another water main break was reported on Raymond and Siwell Road.

Puddles of water were still visible Monday night where city crews made repairs.

Two weeks ago, there were at least 27 water main breaks in Jackson.

One of the biggest was reported at Terry Road and Woody Drive.

And almost a year ago, Jackson was thrown into a crisis when numerous breaks cut off water to hospitals, schools, and businesses in the city when aging pipes collapsed in frigid temperatures.
